One of the major changes from the Falcon 20 to the Falcon 50 is the use of a three-engine system employing Honeywell TFE731-3-1C turbofan engines. The newer aircraft retained the nose and fuselage cross section of the 20, but with a larger super critical wing and an area-ruled tail section.
