Miami International Airport (MIA, KMIA), also called Wilcox Field, is eight miles northwest of the central business district of Miami. The airport is served by one fixed base operator (FBO), Signature Flight Support, which provides services for private aviation and passengers.
Kendall-Tamiami Airport (TMB, KTMB) is located 13 miles southwest of central Miami and serves as a reliever airport for Miami International. Four FBOs offer general aviation services at this airport: LACROSS AVIATION, LLC., FalconTrust Air, Reliance Aviation, and International Flight Center. Dade-Collier Training and Transition Airport (TNT, KTNT) is about 36 miles west of the central business district of Miami, within the Florida Everglades. There are no FBOs or facilities available here.
Another option is the Miami Heliport (X48) which may get you much closer to your hotel or other destination in the city. It is located in the heart of Miami, near many accommodations which can offer you services and facilities which are not available at the helipad.
