The Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport is the closest airport to downtown Denver, while also serving the nearby city of Boulder. Despite its small size, the airport is home to 3 separate runways for all different types of jets and aircraft. Depending on the purpose of your visit, you are very likely to find yourself downtown. But if you are looking for more adventure, the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Park is nearby, along with quite literally dozens of golf courses and wineries within the Denver Metro.
