The Cessna Citation XLS performs. For the pilot, the handling, takeoff speed, and smoothness of the flight are reminiscent of much smaller, more nimble jets, yet the Citation XLS is a midsize jet with ample cabin space and seating for anywhere from 9 to 12 passengers.

Unlike many other modern jets, the XLS was built from the ground up for Cessna to compete in the luxury business jet market, and since then it has become well known for its impressive safety record, comfortable ride, and excellent power, and is available for a variety of private jet flights.

Citation XLS Performance

Aircraft Range

1,850 Nautical Miles

Cruise Speed

441 MPH

With two Pratt & Whitney PW545B engines, the XLS is powerful. It cruises at just under 430 knots, and can fly for about 1,941 miles. It also has an extremely short takeoff distance of 3500 feet, which is considered phenomenal for a midsize jet. It also has powerful and smooth carbon breaking features, which makes it a much more relaxed landing for the nervous passenger.
