The Caravan can seat up to 14 passengers or carry 340 cubic feet of cargo, or a combination of the two. Many aircraft have underbelly cargo pods for even more gear. The cabin is accessible by durable airstair. Other design characteristics of the Caravan include a tailplane, a braced high, tapered wing which increases aircraft stability and visibility, and the now standard Garmin G1000 glass cockpit.
