I know Eagle airport is sometime referred to as Vail airport, what other ski areas does it service?

Eagle is the primary charter airport for all of the Summit county ski areas including, Keystone, Copper, Breckenridge, A-Basin and a few others. It is also one of the back-up airports for Aspen-Pitkin airport that can often be closed due to weather.

If we cannot fly into Eagle, what are the alternatives?

At times, flights may be diverted to nearby airports in the region. Often when wind or visibility prevents private aircraft from landing safely. When flights are diverted due to weather we use lower-altitude options like Rifle, CO (RIL) or possibly one of the Front Range airports that may not be affected by the severe weather.

Should your flight be diverted to an alternate airport we will do our best to help you arrange ground transportation and any other services you may need to get you to your final destination.

Can I bring skis and large equipment bags on the plane? How many?

Yes. Ski equipment is welcome aboard any evoJets charter flight, but space may be an issue depending on the size of the aircraft we use and the makeup of your passengers/other luggage.

Please make sure to mention ski equipment and any other extra-large/heavy items at the time of booking.

How long before our flight do we need to plan on leaving Vail?

Eagle airport is about a 10 minute drive from Vail. We recommend that you plan on leaving Vail approximately 25-30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. This will allow for time for traffic on I-70, which can be heavy at times, and for all of your luggage to be carefully placed on the aircraft prior to takeoff.
