5 Amazing Casinos NOT in Las Vegas

August 21, 2018Luxury Travel
Private Jet to Tunica, MS

When it comes to luxury, there is no place that treats you quite like a casino. From the suites to the high roller rooms to the bars, clubs, restaurants and service, gaming resorts have it down to an art form, helping the elite class truly understand and feel what it means to be high status.

At evoJets, we arrange private plane charters all over the world.  Not surprisingly, many of our clients fly private to popular places like Las Vegas, Monaco, the Bahamas and other major gaming resort locations.

If you’re looking for a casino adventure, chances are the first place you’ll look is Las Vegas, Reno, or somewhere in Nevada where casino resorts are both common and well developed. But every once in a while it’s nice to have somewhere else to go in order to get the same experience, but not have to travel to Nevada each time.

Read on to find some of the top luxury casino resorts outside of Nevada around the country – some you’ve heard of before, and others that may be brand new or hidden gems.

  • L’Auberge Casino Resort – Lake Charles, LA

Private jets to Lake Charles, LA are common request from private travelers, likely in large part to the amazing L’Auberge Casino Resort located just 8mi away.  This resort offers a full slate of table games, slots and a poker room, as well as spectacular amenities.  The casino features a full spa and also its own golf course, if your luck runs out at the tables.

  • IP Casino Resort – Biloxi, MS

Biloxi has more than a half dozen casinos, many of which have some luxury rooms. The Penthouse Suite in IP Biloxi is one of the best, with a high limit gaming room that comes with an excellent menu and 75 slot machines, and is located right near the poker rooms for a bit of extra silence and privacy. Bonus: Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, rated one of the top hotels and casinos in the nation.

  • Thunder Valley Resort – Lincoln, CA

Thunder Valley is located in a city right near Sacramento, and while that may not scream “luxury” right away, Thunder Valley is known to be the size of most Vegas casinos, and the Beaujolais suite is 2140 square feet of comfort for those that really like their space. That suite also comes with a personal sauna.

  • West Baden Springs Hotel – French Lick, IN

Unlike Thunder Valley, however, West Baden Springs Hotel also has several casinos around it, and has a perfect 5 star rating at TripAdvisor. West Baden Springs is an enormous property, with specialty suites that have a lot of character and 51,000 square feet of gaming. The high limit area also has its own VIP lounge.

  • Foxwoods Resort Casino – Mashantucket, CT

380 table games is the standout number of this popular Connecticut luxury casino. The property is enormous, with over 9,000,000 square feet and a very modern cut and color, Foxwoods is a great choice for those that want a brief private jet charter from New York, or simply want to spend their days gaming in one of the United States’ best hotel casinos.

Find Your Gaming

Gaming has come a long way, becoming more technologically advanced, modern, and enjoyable for both traditional and luxury travelers alike. With excellent suites and enjoyable high limit gaming, the above casinos are a great choice for those looking to start their travel.
