How far in advance do I need to arrange my London private jet charter from a US destination?

While we have access to aircraft constantly moving between London and the US, international travel should ideally be booked with at least 1 week notice in order to ensure all aspects of the trip are in order.

Are there customs or TSA checks involved when you charter a private plane to London from the US?
