Which is the best airport to fly into on a charter flight to Lake Tahoe?

There are several airports available in the Tahoe area that can service a wide range of charter planes. Most aircraft utilize South Lake Tahoe (TVL), located nearest to town on the south side of the lake, or Truckee-Tahoe (TVL) located northwest of the lake.

Reno (RNO) is also an option if you are staying in or near Reno.
