Indianapolis has a rather large selection of airports through which you can travel with evoJets Charter, including Indianapolis International Airport, Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport, Mount Comfort Airport, Indianapolis Executive Airport, Eagle Creek Airpark, Greenwood Municipal Airport, Hendricks County Airport, and Indianapolis Downtown Heliport.
Indianapolis International Airport (IND, KIND) - is about 7 miles southwest of the central business district of Indianapolis and is the largest airport in the state of Indiana. It has two fixed base operators (FBOs) to serve general aviation and private aviation passengers: Hawker Beechcraft Services and Signature Flight Support.
The International Airport has several reliever airports for general aviation:
Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport (UMP, KUMP) - is located 8 miles northeast of central Indianapolis and is served by its own local FBO - Indianapolis Aviation, Inc. Mount Comfort Airport (MQJ, KMQJ) is about 12 miles east of the central business district of Indianapolis, is home to the annual Indianapolis Air Show, and also has its own FBO, Indy Aero, LLC.
Indianapolis Executive Airport (TYQ, KTYQ) is 14 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis and has one FBO: Montgomery Aviation.
Eagle Creek Airpark (EYE, KEYE) is about 7 miles west of the central business district of Indianapolis and is also home to its own brand of FBO, Eagle Creek Aviation Services.
Greenwood Municipal Airport (HFY, KHFY) is found about 10 miles southeast of downtown Indianapolis. Its home brand FBO is called Greenwood Executive Air.
Hendricks County Airport (2R2) is also known as Gordon Graham Field, and is 13 miles from central Indianapolis. The on-site service provider, Hendricks County Aviation, LLC, is not a full-service FBO, but does offer some aircraft maintenance and basic amenities.
For the quickest direct access to the central business district of Indianapolis, you can hop a helicopter to the Indianapolis Downtown Heliport (8A4), which is just a few blocks from Monument Circle. There is no designated FBO at the heliport, but your needs can quickly be met at any of the numerous downtown hotels just a few minutes away.
