Gulfstream G250 - Description |
|
A derivative of the G200, the Gulfstream G250 is chock full of recent developments and upgrades. Typically seating 8 to 10 passengers, this aircraft has transcontinental range and a sumptuous cabin which is sure to make the long flight as comfortable as possible.
The cabin of the Gulfstream G250 can hold up to 10 passengers comfortably, in a variety of seating layouts. Some typical amenities include an ergonomic galley, spacious in-flight-accessible baggage compartments, and 19 large windows-4 more than the G200-for increased natural light. The roomy height and width of the G250's cabin are the same as that of the previous version-6 ft 3 in and 7 ft 2 in, respectively-but the length of the cabin has been extended by 1 ft 5 in, giving it a total length of 25 ft 10 in for extra stretching and storage space.
Two Honeywell HTF7250G engines give the G250 a fantastic range of 3910 miles, and speed of 541 mph. Another factor contributing to these great capabilities is the aircraft's new and improved high-speed wing, a more recent advancement in airflow technology.
The G250's cockpit utilizes the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics, including PlaneView250, providing the pilots with an extremely advanced and safety-improving flight deck. Other technology which may be found in some aircraft includes the Head-Up Display II, Gulfstream Enhanced Vision System II, and the Synthetic Vision Primary Flight Display, for increased situational awareness and safety. |
