The Cessna Citation Excel, also called model 560XL, is a combination of several of Cessna’s other Citation models. It uses the same spacious cabin dimensions (height and width) as the Citation X in a shorter fuselage, with a modified Citation V Ultra wing and tail.The Citation Excel’s cabin contains eight extra wide leather seats in double club layout beneath ten cabin windows. A folding table is available between each pair of seats and comes with laptop connections for each passenger. The cabin also features a dropped aisle, a SatCom system for phone, fax, and email, and individual screens and headsets for DVD and CD players.The design of the Excel includes a low unswept, supercritical wing built on that of the Citation Ultra, trailing link landing gear, Pratt & Whitney Canada PW-545A turbofans, and a Honeywell Primus 1000 EFIS avionics package.
