The Bombardier Challenger 800 is a corporate shuttle version of the Bombardier CRJ200 airliner. In its executive format, it is typically configured for twelve to 19 passengers, and with a more than 48-foot-long cabin it has plenty of space for luggage, conference areas, or more passengers with appropriate accommodations.
On the Challenger 800, “spacious” is an understatement. There is a vast selection of seating options available, including club seats, divans, armchairs, office space and equipment, and room for conferences. For much larger parties, the Challenger 800 may be arranged in corporate shuttle layout for thirty to fifty passengers. The cabin has 13 windows on each side to let in natural light.The inspiration for Challenger 800, the Bombardier CRJ200 Regional Jetliner, is merely the airliner version of basically the same aircraft. It is usually configured for 50 passengers, but on the occasion that a customer would like to charter the CRJ200, it may be fitted with an executive layout as necessary.
The Challenger 800’s two General Electric CF34-3B1 turbofans offer transcontinental range and superb performance. For an even longer range, an alternate maximum takeoff weight option may be utilized. The flight deck of the Challenger 800 features a Collins Pro Line 4 avionics system. |
